I do have a couple of complaints though, as it isn’t a perfect experience but I could look past the lack of depth in the story and the backtracking because everything else is done well.

Degrees of Separation gets another nod, because everything runs smoothly and each mechanic is worthwhile and doesn’t hold the game back. The environments had a ton of creativity and this meant exploration rarely got dull, all thought it was a nit cumbersome when I had to backtrack a few times during my play through. The puzzles have been done well enough that I was prepared to look past the lack of difficulty and focused solely on the creativity within each of the puzzles. At the core this game is a puzzle game with platform elements combined and thankfully, the puzzles have been done well overall. Both the visuals and sound design definitely had a lot of time devoted to them. From the moment I began Degrees of Separation I was captured by the superb art style and the adventure at hand. From It would’ve been nice to have been challenged more because even though I enjoyed the puzzles, none of them required much effort to solve.
